Strategic advisory
Decisions that hold, not just until the next vendor change.
We come in as an independent counterpart when you face a fork in the road: which platform, which vendor, which organization. We take no commissions and we always say what we think. The advice you get is the advice we would follow ourselves.

What we do
Most strategic e-commerce decisions are made once or twice a decade, but they live with the business every day in between. We are there for exactly those decisions, when the stakes are high, the options unclear and the vendors have agendas of their own.
We start with the business, not the technology. What should the channel achieve, for which markets, with which organization behind it? Only then do we talk platform and architecture. That is what makes the recommendation hold even when conditions change.
What we help with
- Platform selection. Which platform fits the business, composable, suite or custom-built, and what the choice costs over five years.
- Vendor strategy. How to set up the relationship so it serves you and not the other way around.
- Organization and staffing. Which roles you need in-house, what you buy in, how the team is put together.
- Technical architecture. Overall direction and the principles that guide decisions going forward.
How we work
We are senior and few. No junior learns on your project, and you talk to the same people the whole way. We always say what we actually think, including when it is not what you hoped to hear, and we write it down so the decision can be defended internally long after we leave.
Because our only revenue is the fee you pay, there is no hidden incentive in what we recommend. That is not a marketing point, it is our entire business model.
Typical setups
Three ways it usually starts.
Second opinion
An independent check before a decision you are already leaning toward. We read in, challenge the assumptions and give a clear answer.
Strategic engagement
Recurring advice through an entire decision process, from current state to chosen direction, with material the team can stand behind.
Workshop series
Facilitated sessions with leadership and team where we build the decision basis together and anchor the direction.
