Interim & projects
The right person in place, for as long as needed and no longer.
Sometimes a key role is missing at a critical moment: an e-commerce manager during a replatforming, a project manager to take it all the way, a CTO during a recruitment. We step in operationally, drive the work and hand over when it is done.
- Who it is for
- Companies temporarily missing a role
- Roles we take
- E-commerce manager · project manager · CTO · architect
- Format
- Interim role or project management
- Typical duration
- 3 to 12 months
What we do
We do not only advise, we step in and do. When an organization needs an experienced e-commerce manager, project manager or architect for a defined period, we take the role, own the delivery and hold the work together until it is finished.
The difference from an ordinary consultant is that we take line responsibility. We sit on the management team, make the decisions the role calls for and lead the team, while knowing the engagement has an end and a handover built in from day one.
What we help with
- Interim e-commerce manager or CTO. A senior person who takes line responsibility during a recruitment, a reorganization or a demanding change project.
- Project and program management. We run replatformings, integrations and launches from start to go-live.
- Business development. Support to shape and prioritize initiatives when the pace is high.
- Architect role. A senior architect in the team through an intense build phase.
How we work
We are senior and get up to speed fast. You get someone who has done it before, not someone learning on your project, and who has the rest of Commerce Mind to lean on when needed.
The goal is always to leave behind something the organization can run itself. An interim role that only holds while we are there has failed. We build routines, document and hand over.
Typical setups
Three ways we step in.
Interim role
We take a line role for a defined period, with mandate, responsibility and a seat on the management team.
Project management
We run a specific project from start to go-live and hold vendors, team and timeline together.
Architect in the team
A senior architect in the team through an intense build phase, owning the technical choices.
